Erick Kennedy

Erick Kennedy is an Accra, Ghana-born, long term resident of the Netherlands and the US. His family’s background as entrepreneurs has shaped his business experience over the last 25 years.

In Ghana, he helped run his father’s pharmacies in Accra and Swedru as a boy. After moving to Holland to further his education, he ran a poultry export business. Since moving to the US, he has expanded his education in pharmaceuticals while also creating a new business with his wife and partner, Mina. ME Partners builds further on that export expertise with an expanded product line which includes premium jasmine perfumed rice, vegetable cooking oil, canned mackerel in tomato sauce and numerous commodity food items, such as frozen cassava fish. Erick’s varied background brings business acumen, a strong emphasis on results, and language skills in several Ghanaian dialects, along with Dutch, German, and French.

Erick’s educational background includes Salem Boarding School in Akropong-Akwapim, Swedru Secondary School, and the University of Amsterdam.

Erick serves as COO, managing Sales, Operations, and Warehouse Systems & Processes for ME Partners.

Mina Bush-Kennedy

Mina has extensive experience in diversified operations and general management areas of business. Her expertise includes developing and implementing strategy and establishing core competencies for new service deployments in major corporations. Her marketing expertise spans both commercial and consumer markets in the US and abroad.

Mina’s international experience includes marketing, product design and introductions, and strategy development in the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Japan, Hong Kong, and of course Ghana.

She has managed development and deployment of re-organization programs to large broadband companies and managed operational rollouts of new product launches, in addition to direct management of a national workforce. She has extensive experience working with field personnel implementing process and procedural changes to provide results measurability and performance improvement.

She served as the VP of Marketing and General Manager of Business Services for AT&T Broadband before beginning her own entrepreneurial endeavors. Her consulting clients include Time Warner Cable, Comcast Cable, and Hewlett Packard.

As a co-founder of ME Partners, she has designed and launched three consumer products, built a Ghanaian consumer brand and serves as CEO and CFO for the enterprise.

Mina attended Creighton University and the University of Phoenix, with her formal education culminating in an MBA from Simmons College.
